Yo ha.

I was wonderin’

well. I guess I’m thinking…

I really liked the MO preset ‘HOP HEAD’ it was a string preset....

and this thing, sounded so raw and crappy and compressed.

I’m worried. I’m gonna get my MOXF8 and I won’t be able to use this preset voice.

It’s literally the best string sample in the MO.

So how should I go about making recreating it in the MOXF

god such a horrible long name for such a slutty machine.

WISH ME LUCK

The “Hophead” Voice was a Preset in both the MO and ES.

Download the two files in my last post on Page 1 of this thread:
http://www.motifator.com/index.php/forum/in/viewthread/473177/
Those files include all the factory Preset Voices from the ES, six banks in total (two more than the MO had), which I converted to Motif XF format (which the MOXF can load) - see below for the original source.

Unzip the files. “Hophead” is USR3:17(B01) in ES Pre123+Dr1-32.n3.X3V, and can be loaded as a single Voice to your MOXF. It may not sound exactly as it did in the MO - you’ll have to decide if it’s close enough.

The source of the original data is…
http://www.motifator.com/index.php/support/view/converting_motif_es_and_mo6_mo8_data_to_the_motif_xs_and_motif_xf
...but the MOXF can’t directly load Motif XS .X0V files.
