I’m planning on getting a MOXF8 & Cubase Elements 8 soon, but I wanted to ask first. Does anyone have this setup? Any problems transmitting MIDI/Audio from keyboard to DAW. Since I prefer recording my music to the keyboard’s sequencer first then transferring it to the DAW. Would appreciate anyone’s help.

Is there a compelling reason to stay tied to that workflow?
Steinberg has been around midi sequencers pretty much from the beginning. Cubase is simple to work with in midi and definitely more powerful to edit the midi, the larger screen is a great help.

I guess you have a good reason to want to use the onboard sequencer, but with Cubase, why not try something new?

Just a thought.
