How can I make the delay effect from my Motif fit to the tempo that I’m using in Cubase ?

You didn’t really give a detailed description of your problem.  Please call Steinberg Tech Support.  Ask for Lee.

Re: Motif delay on tempo in Cubase… help!

On Motif , Go to Utility Mode, F5 MIDI, SF3 Sync and set Motif to external MIDI sync.

If you then select one of the tempo synced delays it will be clocked to the tempo in Cubase (assuming that you have connected the Motif to your computer via MIDI and USB).

Don’t think there is any reason to call Steinberg, if this works for you.

It seemed pretty obvious that if you wanted to sync to Cubase you had to have the Motif set to external sync.  Maybe that’s why noone bothered to answer.

Re: Motif delay on tempo in Cubase… help!

I just noticed that when I put sync to “MIDI” ... when i play.. the sound playback is sliced.  Strange isn’t it?

Please can someone tell me what causes this and how to fix it.
thanks
