Can I connect a MIDIMAN keyboard trigger to a motif 6 to access different sounds, in a sense use it as an additional keyboard?

Re: Adding a keyboard trigger like midiman You can connect the other keyboard to act as a controller to the Motif and have the Motif be the tone generator. You can sequence your song on the Motif and set it to have the Motif play 8 tracks and the other keyboard play the other 8 tracks. You can midi the two together and have both play the sounds at the same time. Does your other keyboard have a sequencer? Is it just a controller? |

Concerning MIDIMAN: I am the unlucky owner of a MIDIMAN keyboard (keystation 61). Notes get stuck all the time.

Re: Adding a keyboard trigger like midiman
Thanks for responding to my issue. What I have is a motif 6 and a Midiman USB keystation 49. Could you please tell me what I need to do to make it work? I am trying to avoid buying another keyboard since I have the midiman anyway.

Get a MIDI cable. Plug it to MIDI OUT (Keyboard, not USB) on the Midiman keyboard.Plug it into MIDI IN on the motif.
