Which is the best UTILITY\SYNC setting when you work exclusively on a computer? MIDI or AUTO?

(Especially when you’re having sync problems with the connection?)

I’m always in AUTO mode.  I’m sync’ing mostly for ARPs.  That way, the arps work when the sequencer is in “Play” or “Stop”. 

Also, be sure to check your sequencer’s settings to be sure that it is sending the MIDI sync signal to the Motif..

Let me put it another way:

It SEEMS to me that the MIDI setting works best (= less crashes in Logic). But I wonder if it creates a conflict in XS when I choose #3 setting in Quick Setup?

I mean: Then I have AUTO chosen in Quick Setup, but MIDI in UTILITY.
