Okay Thanks to all the senior members and mods of this great site I have been a frequent visitor but, questions have been answered without needing to post, however im slightly stuck. This is whatI want to do, I want to create a drum kit from wav samples on a usb stick. I have no problem doing this loading a wav to udr that works fine. my question is
Do i have to load each sample seperatly to each key. or is their a quicker way to do this? Like lets say i have 30 kicks Can I just not load them all at once to udr 001? Have i got this all wrong Should I be ussing studio manager to create a udr then transfer it to the motif, or is studio manager just for editing sounds or is there a completely diffrent way cheers in advance

Re: Creating a Drum Kit Help Required

On the Motif ES, the Voice Editor (running under the Studio Manager) is capable of editing drum voices. It cannot, be used to load user samples. Therefore, in my opinion, you are best served to create your custom drum kit directly on the Motif ES. In any case, you must load samples one at a time.

Have you read the Creating custom Drum Kits article from the Motif Classic Behind the Manual page? While written for the Motif classic, it applies to the Motif ES as well.
