Is it possible to have seperate control settings for each
part in a multi??  Sustain pedal for part one(Piano).

No sustain on part 2 (strings)

Mod wheel active on part one but not part 2 etc.

I read the manual online- I know that many things can
be set per part- but basic controller settings were not mentioned.

I would need this to use the rack live.

Am I missing something??

Controllers are assignable on a per PART basis. So the answer is yes. See page 97 of the Owner’s Manual

You can for each Part decide if it will or will not receive a particular Controller

From the MULTI screen
Press [EDIT]
Select RCV SW (Receive Switch)
Set it ON for the controllers you want to receive, and OFF for the controllers you want to have ignore it.
Use the [>] Right Cursor to advance through the PARTS 1-16… and set it for each of the 16 PARTS of the MULTI, as you desire.
Press [STORE] to update the MULTI.
