I’m wondering if the fader pickup feature is also available when using XS as surface control (i.e. when mixing in Cubase)?  I couldn’t try this myself at the moment (I’m not with my motif).

If not, any tips on mixing with non-motorized faders?  I’d guess it must be super hard since you have to readjust and remember what you did on each fader. 

Depending on the outcome of this, I might buy Behringer BCF2000 with its nice motorized faders.
