+100 for the piano roll editor

-2000 for the mouse support. Leave it for the computer, using buttons is much faster (if the screens are well organized of course)!

The reason why I suggest a mouse is because it is much easier to be able to drag and drop the piano roll notes in precise places.  It would seem (to me anyways) to be much faster in editing to have a mouse just for that ability.  Any other thoughts?

I agree with doremifasol.

1) Piano roll is good idea.
2) Mouse support only if the XS have more graphical interface (like computer OS).

However, the XS editor is good enough to editing, with graphical interface (envelopes, rotary knobs, etc). To voice editing is better to use computer.

But mouse support would be a excellent feature if the XS have a possibility to edit the keymaps (waveforms) graphically, like software samplers (Kontakt, Virtual Sampler, Halion). Maybe in a future OS + editor???
