I am trying to monitor the pitch fix effect but I can’t hear any signal. I have followed the instructions in the manual several times.
I have tried using normal record and punch in. I have both the source and destination faders set to 0db. Can someone tell me what I could be doing wrong please?

Re: AW2400 Can’t monitor pitch fix

I’m not an AW2400 user, but I’m scanning the manual to see if I can be a second set of eyes for you…

Yes, you’re in the right forum, but 7 hours overnight might not be enough time for a response… /forums/images/icons/wink.gif alt=

So, after you do this, are you saying that your destination track definitely has the pitch-corrected track in it?

If so, then you’re halfway there…
- Are you monitoring the SOURCE, or DESTINATION track?
- Is the recorder set to RECORD MODE?

If NOT,
- Is your Pitch Fix RATE setting set to something other then 0?
- Is BYPASS disengaged?

Re: AW2400 Can’t monitor pitch fix

Just thought that this might be a dead forum as the AW2400 was discontinued.

Yes there is a recorded section showing on the track screen
but this is just silent audio.

I have the channel buttons on and the faders up for both the source and destination tracks.

I have set the recorder to record normally and using auto punch.

Yes the pitch fix rate is set higher then 0.

Yes bypass is disengaged.

Thanks

I suggest that you call Customer Support - so an Application Specialist (with an AW2400) can walk you through it.
