I want to know what cables I need in order to play Logic Studio’s softwares instruments without any Audio interface(Using Macbook outputs)in stereo?

The only available hardware stereo output on the Macbook is the stereo headphone out. It is a stereo “mini” phone jack. I suppose you could rig up an adapter which would be stereo mini phone jack on one
end, to a Y-cable with either RCA male or 1/4” male jacks on the
other.

But trust me - the Macbook’s output (and the output of every laptop on the planet) stinks - the “quality” of audio will be super poor. You should
always hook up a Fire Wire audio/midi interface for any kind of audio
work on your Macbook and Logic.

Plus, without a FireWire audio/MIDI interface, you will have no way to get any audio into Logic, or sync your MIDI keyboard - at all. So unless you just want to entertain yourself by playing back Logic’s loops or pre-recorded projects, you will “have” to buy an audio/MIDI interface for it.

I see you have a Focusrite Saffire, why aren’t you using that with your Macbook?

I was planning to do it without the interface( less equipment) for only play the software instruments on Logic but you are right I have to use the Focusrite .
