Re: THE BROTHERHOOD (read first)

I definitely feel the sense of unification here. Especially with the African drum motif. LOL. The panning is a bit too much on the left side for me. But I love this concept. I would maybe expand more sounds into the stereo field. Thanks for sharing....

Re: THE BROTHERHOOD (read first)

Thanks DF, yes your correct about the panning.
I took a look at the mix, and noticed that my strings were in the wrong spot, and I widened the stereo field a bit too wide.
I used the imager feature in waves gold bundle.
It still has room for vocals though. LOL

Hammad

If I could add to a collaboration, I would either “raise my hand” on the bass, or drums for the track.
As for the genre, I don’t care what it is, as long as it’s NOT classical music. HAHAHAHA
If that is the case, this I most certinly pass.

Our brother Mark from the UK, sent me some patterns a while back, maybe I will post up the .XO file of two, and see what people will do towards that.

I just might be that we may have to post up MP3 audio versions of a Collab, for those that have a different Motif than ours, like classic or ES.
I have an ES as well, so I’m pretty much game and good to go.

First let’s find out who’s in before attempting this.
For if nobody wants in, then it would purely be a personal project and one should just go for it at that point.

THANKS FOR LISTEN

Re: THE BROTHERHOOD (read first)

Ahh Jerry, you’re too kind......and I’m not so sure about the singing front LOL.....but I do love to Jam, it’s where you and your instrument are one, and its about what you feel, rather than what’s on a bit of paper.

I was disappointed to have to turn my neighbour down when he asked me to join his band ( he’s the one I usually Jam with ), but I just don’t have the time, and my job is shift based, so its difficult to commit to rehersals. My Dad has now found a second guitarist, so I’m not getting hassled to join his band anymore. ( they have a long way to go before I’d be comfortable playing alongside them without a paper bag over my head. I love them, but even I have my limits LOL ).

Hammad, I have a place where my files and loops are http://drop.io/markpmusic and the guest password is musicman. If you think you can do anything with any of them, I’m sure I could save off the XOP files for you to that location. Just let me know. ( Actually I’m sure the ALL-PATT file is on my drop.io account too ).
