here is a spoken word tune. all of the instruments are from Propellerheads Reason. as you know i don’t cloud my tunes with a lot of music as to leave room for the singer or in this case, the spoken word artist....

Re: Tru2U

I dig the overal groove of this track Kyle.
It’s very soulful in it’s construction.
Maybe fade the last not on the synth trumpet, instead of cutting if off so sharply, it woud give that lead more feeling, and a bit more realisum.

Digging the lead, and the drop chord that comes from the brass sound, when the synth trumpet plays it’s melody,,,very tasteful.
The overal track in it’self, sort of reminds me of EWF, so you know I’m feeling that...LOL

Thanks for sharing your work.

Re: Tru2U

very good suggestion TFM. i was trying to stay away from the EWF thing but you know i wanted to drop something in there. i may even go back and try this tune on the Mo Classic to see how the sounds compare....

Re: Tru2U

Kyle, I promise this track would sound better on the Mo.
Nothing wrong with the EWF style, it’s respected, and sort of fits the bill for spoken word.
Yeah, go ahead and mix this into the Mo.

KyleB,

I agree with everybody. Great Job. I have Reason 4 as well, but never tried it seriously. Maybe I should.

Re: Tru2U

Had a nice little late night jazzy feel to it.  I haven’t listened to many of your tracks but I really like this one.
