anything with the ability to be updated should be updated. oh wait update is going to be like every 3 years buy or upgrade to a new machine

I’m sure the ES won’t be updated. It does what it does.

It appears Yamaha has their hands full with updating the XS.

You’re right, future ‘updates’ will be by purchasing a new machine.

I’m still happy with my ES. I play an XS at church and while it’s very nice, the ES still does what I need it to do.
