My wife, Marina, has written a bunch of songs and last August we started recording them. We’ve completed seven so far and this one is number 5 (my favorite).

All instrumentation is done on a Motif ES6 and mixed down on an AW16G recorder. I used a Studio Projects VTB1 tube preamp on the mic and sweetened the vocal a bit with an Aphex 204 Aural Exciter.

I like the musical construction of this track.
THe mix is well put together, and vocals are very clear and precise.
Your wife has a strong vocal range, and you have mixed the vocal part quite well within this song.
Love that lead guitar within this mix, it fits very well.

Not bad. I might work on the mix a bit. Too many highs in the pad section and the timing is a bit off especially in the intro. But not bad. Interesting progression. Thanks for sharing…
