While it is possible to have a monophonic signal coming out both the left and right channels (simply select or create voices that use monophonic waveforms), there are no global settings that will allow one of them have effects applied and the other not.

You can do that and anything else you can think of if you get into a computer DAW system. Basically an audio interface and software for you computer.

... of course the audio input sent to the harmonizer from another sound generating module would not be the MO’s sound, but rather that tone generator’s sound as the MIDI sent from the MO simply tells the tone the notes, duration and control changes to apply to those notes, not how to generate the MO sound…

That wouldn’t be a problem here...The module’s sound will never be heard...it is just to to feed the input of the harmonizer to give it a reference chord.
