Ok, I figured out how to take a drum kit, customize it, and add my own wav’s to certain keys. I did save it, however, when I turned off and on, I lost the kit, and lost the sound. I understand the wav has to be loaded from my memory stick, but when I try to load it, it wants to know which key to assign it to.

Re: Saving drum kit with custom WAV
In order to preserve the programming as well as the wave assignments for your custom drum kit you need to save an ALL file or an ALL VOICE file. You can then setup the Motif XS to load this file on power up. For information on saving ALL or ALL VOICE files see page 278 of the Motif XS Owner’s Manual . For information on setting up the Motif XS to automatically load a file on power up, see pages 262-263 of the Motif XS Owner’s Manual .

Re: Saving drum kit with custom WAV Is Chicken Translator Pro supporting drum kits yet? I remember for the longest time they only supported voices vs. transfer into drum kits… Anyways, maybe they will support this transfer soon? |
