I’ve loaded all of the samples from the loyalty CD, Halion, etc., onto my computer’s hard drive.
My question: Are all of the samples supposed to be imported to the XS? Or, can you load them directly into cubase AI via VST instruments under devices?

Question #2: Can “Analog Factory” be inserted into Cubase AI as a virtual instrument? When I load Arturia’s Analog Factory and go to Audio Preferences, under the setting “Audio device” I have the option of “mLAN Audio Out” or “ASIO mLAN”.  When I choose “ASIO mLAN” I get the message: Error while opening “ASIO mLAN”, Error Initializing mLAN Bus device: MLERR (4).

Thanks for any help.

Re: Virtual Synths

Nothing in your post gives us a clue about what your are really doing. What computer you are using or which mLAN driver you have installed.

Yes, Arturia’s Analog Factory can be run as a VSTi inside of Cubase. You should try and get Cubase running with mLAN then it will follow (logically) that your VSTi will use mLAN as well.
