Can I play mm6 using a hifi system.  i.e. using the AUX (Line-in) stereo connection cable (red/white cables)?  If yes.. what kind of cables/conversion adapter need to be used?

Or the monitor speakers/amplifiers the only options to play the mm6?

Re: Sound output device - HELP!!!

Right now I am using an external PC speaker to play MM6 by connecting to the phone jack.

I would like to play the sound through my HIFI system.  However I can’t, and I do not know what’s wrong. My connection is as follows:

MM6 - L/MONO - connects to cable

Cable connects to converter (convert from phone jack to micro-jack) i.e big head to small head.

Micro jack to RCA jack (one to two output - RED and WHITE)

RCA (red-white) jack to HIFI - AUX Line-in (red and white hole)

Can any of the experts/gurus help??

Re: Sound output device - HELP!!!

I’m not sure why you are messing with a microjack?

Yes, you can hook up the mm6 to a home stereo.  Head to Radio Shack if you have one near you. On one end of a stereo cable, you will need 1/4” plugs. On the other end, you will need RCA jacks.

If they don’t make them in this configuration, get adaptors. Get a stereo 1/4” to 1/4” cable, then get a stereo (or two mono) 1/4’ to RCA jack adaptor(s).
