hello all,

i use the yamaha studio manager software, version 2.1.7. and motif-rack multi part editor, version 2.1.6 / Win XP.

i can’t see my created voices in the voice list of the multi part editor.
i can see and load only init voices (e.g. bank ‘normal user 1’).
what can i do? the voices are stored correct in the user bank (usr1) of the motif rack. the usb connection is ok.

First, you need to go into the VOICE EDITOR.

Make sure the ACTIVE Library in the VOICE EDITOR matches what’s actually online in your RACK.

Then, do FILE / SAVE LIBRARY AS....

And give it a filename.  Note the extension is w9e.

Now, from the MULTIPART EDITOR,

do FILE / IMPORT VOICE… and open the file you just created (with the .w9e extension.)


OR, from the MULTI Editor, do SETUP / RECEIVE VOICE BULK.

That will import the current voice bank(s) as well.
