it looks like if I take the files I save to the USB drive, put them on my hard drive where they acquire niceties like time stamp information and then put them on another USB drive the MO8 won´t read the files off the new USB drive.
I sees them but when I select them it gives me an error something like ¨File not found¨
anybody else seen this?

No I have not… but make sure your other USB drive does not have U3 copy protection software built-in.

If it does you can go to [url=http://www.U3.com]http://www.U3.com [/url]
and get the U3 removal tool…
