Does recording vocals into the ES8 take up a lot more memory on the Smart Card than just a regular music voice? I put a vocal on one song and now the Songs file is taking a lot longer to load. I want to use these vocals live and don’t want to have to switch Smart Media Cards between songs.........

Yes, of course. If you recorded a mono sample at 44.1 kHz, each minute of sampled recording will add about 5 MB to your song. If you recorded it in stereo, you will add about 10 MB per minute.

Re: Recording Vocal into ES8

When I’m using samples (recorded vocals) in songs, I load it at power up (as autoload). In that case you would have possibility to easily switch between songs without necessity to switch your SM cards. And yes, its boring to wait for samples to load, but as I said, I did it only once during ES power up procedure.
