Hi guys and gals,
new poster to the forum but have been reading for years so if I get this wrong please forgive.

About two weeks ago while in a studio session, my motif es6 just powered off and then right back on again.  We lost everything we created for the track because we had not yet saved anything.  I thought it was a one time fluke, but it has been happening more frequently.  For now I have been saving work every 3-5min or so.  I also noticed that just before it shuts down there is a very obvious lag in my drum loops.

if anyone has any solutions it would be very Helpful, or it maybe time to take it in for repair which i would like some direction in also.

Thanks

Motifes6, Pro Tools 7.4, Mac Pro, OSX.

Re: Power Problems

Check your power cord first.
Any burned connectors?

tried different outlets all connectors AOK.

I was hoping that was the problem-less expensive.

Re: Power Problems

Then I can only think of a loose wire around the power block.
Best you take it to a store.

Re: Power Problems

I had the same symptoms a few years ago, it was a bad solder joint in the power supply.

Time for the repairman I’m afraid.
