I know that a Performance can be copied to a Multi, but, is there a way to copy a 4 part Multi to a Performance? Thanks!

I believe you can achieve the same effect by simply assigning the same “Receive Channel” to all of the parts of your Multi.

Re: Can a Multi be copied to a Perfomance?

Hi,

Sorry for the late reply, but I’ve been away for a while. A registered version of my motif.factory librarian (see http://www.xfactory-librarians.co.uk ) can copy multis to performances (and vice versa).

DerekCook,

This is just what i need! If it isn’t too much trouble, can you give me a step by step installation process? Thanks!

Already done, on these two pages!

http://www.xfactory-librarians.co.uk/java.html

You will need to register and pay a modest registration fee to enable file save and MIDI export, but the download version allows you to load and import data so that you can evaluate the software to see if it fits your needs.
