Hello it’s BosBeats , #2 on rocbattle.com , I have had an ES for 3 yrs now ,I actually bought an XS but don’t use cuz I love my ES more with my plg boards and the fact that some of the best sounds are both for the ES and XS from this site , I also got use to the ES , my XS I could not even take say 8 bars and loop all at the same time , it would freeze , the rolanf fantom G is weird , sounds good but it is time consuming compared to the ES when making quick but great tracks. Since I bought many of the sounds off here , I have been getting great feedback and even had top sales on mybeatshop.com. I have a site called hiphopbeatsforsalenow.com if anyone wants to hear my work. I had 6 keys at once lol , but my ES has givin me $ for much of my tracks and I love it lol. Does anyone know what sounds are gonna be coming here soon? I’de love to see another hiphop one. I love the pads , mystic pads , the 80s set is tight as well. guitar pretty cool. Oh have one of the organ sets , but which is the best? Ok many Questions , I been checking this site often but never really new bout the forums.I still got alot of things to learn about what my key can do , but what I am told alot is that I have great production , yet I never have used a computer in my life for producing tracks , I send via digi out to my pro audio workstation and press play n rec. n repeat in mix mode where I master with soft compression right to cd and boom lol , peeps say I got very clean mixes lol , and mostly all done inc EQ on the keys itself , that says a motif es is a great production unit. Yall could think I’m trying to sell em or promote this sites sound libraries , but when I love something , I talk bout it real loud.haha. here is mt latest track , using the motif es 7 , a pad from the mystic set , and another from another set , dance expanded I think , oh yeah and what sounds like a lead guitar is actually a lead from the lead set that you can buy for $25 , hot stuff , melodic pop rock ish 80s brought back feel and a bit of a new style of Dirty south , but a more epic than DS typical feel , enjoy it. |

Re: New in forums , and love my ES and these sounds
Surely the ES is a wonderful machine; a great fact that we both live and play in these years.

I agree that ES is so powerfull machine. And with my three plug-in boards it has all sounds from analog age (AN), frequency modulation (DX), virtual acoustics (VL) it is most powerfull sound engine I’ve heard. I understood that you’ve never use your ES with computer. Try, especially Cubase or Logic (if you are Mac user). With such arrangement you could say that you have a powerfull music studio.

Yep, once you get the hang of it, the ES8 is quite a powerful workstation. I’ve had mine over 4 years, and now the beauty part of it all is that I’ve more than made back the money I paid for not only the ES8, but my entire rig from playing live gigs! So the ES8 is one of the few investments I’ve made in music that actually paid off!
