Hi,

I know the MO6 has 1 arpegiator engine .... but

Could you include more then 1 arpegiator line in a song/pattern, by means of recording 1 arpegiator line into a track with MIDI data, and use the next track to generate an arpegiator by means of the arp. engine ?

The sequencer plays then the first arpegiator line by just playing the midi notes ?

My common sence says this would be possible. Don’t own the machine yet, asking someone with experience.

Leaning towards the Korg M50 with dual arpegiators as an alternative to the MO6

That approach works just fine… as a matter of fact, there’s an article on using this approach in the Motif Classic Behind the Manual page . You can access it directly here: Working with the Motif Arpeggiator . While written for the Motif classic, it applies equally to the MO6/8.
