Has anyone opened an ES before. I may have to replace my file button and am looking for someone who has opened an ES. I have the technical experience to change out the button myself. I am looking for some tips or experiences before opening the ES myself.

You definitely need patience! It has lots of screws! :-)

And they are not all the same so you need to track their positions!

PatchChord is your man.  I haven’t seen him around much lately but you may be able to reach him by PM.

Take a look at this thread, although it is for the Classic.

Re: Taking an ES apart

Yea I know… I was trying to capture the largest audience possible as the ES is not as popular these days. Shame on me!!  /forums/images/icons/frown.gif alt=
