Has anyone opened an ES before. I may have to replace my file button and am looking for someone who has opened an ES. I have the technical experience to change out the button myself. I am looking for some tips or experiences before opening the ES myself.

Re: Taking an ES apart
PatchChord is your man. I haven’t seen him around much lately but you may be able to reach him by PM.

Re: Taking an ES apart
Peter, I actually remembered Patchchord as working on the Motif. I PM’d him a week ago and haven’t gotten a response yet. There is no email address for him under his profile. Maybe I’ll hear from him in the future.

Re: Taking an ES apart
Great videos. It was helpful. Did you make them? Now I just need to find one that shows you how to change out a button.

Re: Taking an ES apart Thanks for sharing the video. I think I am going to try what PeterG posted about what Patchchord did first. His problem sounds exactly like mine. I am hoping that the deoxidizer cleaner will do the trick. |
