the cubase AI4 tell one of my friends this:"the cubase AI4 insert only 2 vst instruments to project to the same time??? yes or no? is very ultra-lite version the AI4? to steinberg site his speak for 28 VST effects, including 19 VST3 plug-ins…
please help me befor i buy updayte to other version like essensial...i dont have money… sorry for my english…

Hello,
Please see page 36 of the .pdf version of your Cubase AI “Plug-in Reference” manual. Cubase AI has two slots for instruments. You can have up to 2 VST Instruments activated at the same time, different models or several instances of the same instrument. You can of course also use “Instrument Channels”.
Yes, AI is a free ultra lite version of Cubase, is designed to give you an introduction to a few things Cubase can do, and one should not expect it have all the features of the commercial versions. You may wish to consider upgrading when funds become available. Hope this helps...............frank

frank thangs… now i buy the essensial upgrade with 100€ for my dealer..i wish the next update of AI4 unlock other 4 or 6 vst instruments slots…

---I understand, but again, a company is not going to give away for FREE the same number of features that are in the commercial versions....otherwise why would anyone buy the program? /forums/images/icons/smile.gif alt= As I said AI is an introduction to Cubase; it’s not meant to just do everything the other versions do.
