Does anyone have any suggestions for a rack sequencer?  I’m looking to use something with my Rack XS and add it to my rack instead of lugging my computer around separately.

I’d recommend either Yamaha QY-700 or Korg M3-rack, they both offers very cool features.

Although neither one will fit in a standard 19” rack.

Rack-mounted sequencers have never really done well because of the inconvenience of gaining access to the front panel… The QY700 is a desktop unit… Although it is a common customer request, in actual real life, they have never really done well.

Because you have to have such repeated access to the front panel and racks tend to always be placed somewhere inconvenient, they just do not sell well… Of course, that is just my opinion.
