I’m pretty new to this whole sound programming thing, so please bear with me if this is a naive question. Say I’ve programmed up a sound. It has 3 elements. I’ve gone through and made up ADSR envelopes for pitch, filter, and or amp. I’m happy with them. So I have a voice. Now when I’m playing that, what do the ADSR, cutoff and resonance knobs do in realtime? Do they affect all three elements in the same way? Is there some switch to disassociate the live knobs from an individual element? I realize I could take one of the two assignable knobs and dedicate it to these params and control only one element. Just wondering what the dedicated ones do in this case. |
