I just bought the smart media card from motif mart i have a motif classic i put my smart media card with my bats into the media reader how do i listen to the beats can i transfer them into protools with the smart media reader or did i waste my money can someone please help?

I assume you meant your beats?

None of the standard Motif file formats can be opened in Protools.

You either have to record the Motif’s output into ProTools or resample. Resampling requires enough sample RAM to record the audio...the built in 4 MB only can record for about 30 seconds, fully expanded to 64MB you can record for 5 minutes, 20 seconds. This gives you a WAV file you can then load into ProTools.

so i can pull up beats i made from my smart media card i do have 64 mb of ram by the way how do i record my beats and make them wav files so i can transfer the beats to my pc please help me out i heard i can also put samples from songs on the smart media card from smart media readr then transfer to motif i would really appreciate ur help!!! thanks
