Re: Voltage problem Desperately need help!!

Have you checked to see if there is a fuse on the power supply? If so, has it blown?

It goes without saying, if you have to open up your Motif to do this, Do Not Have It Plugged in to the mains!!!!!!!

If the fuse has blown, hopefully that may be the answer - replace the fuse with one of the same rating.

Of course, further damage may have been done, but this is where I would start.

Cheers

Brilliant - I am pleased for you. Nothing quite as nasty as a fried board /forums/images/icons/smile.gif alt=

Re: Voltage problem Desperately need help!!

yeah....i was upset for 2 days when he was repairing it… and finally wen the repair guy told me to check the board for myself...fumes started coming out after 2-3 minutes...that’s wen i got really scared...but he just kept smiling..he turned the board around changed a capacitor and it started working just fine! no problems since then.
Neways thanks a lot… /forums/images/icons/laugh.gif alt=
