So going into utility i get my “tune” option but it’s just up down. I’m guessing cents but not sure.  I want to tune my entire motif globally to A=432hz rather then the standard A=440hz.  How would i go about doing that.  Thanks

The “TUNE” option is in cents. Try -31.7 or -31.8

Re: tuning to A=432hz in rack es

Thanks. any way you can tell me how you came up with that number.  is there some kind of converter on the web.
Thanks!

found it at http://www.geocities.com/CapeCanaveral/Lab/8779/chc1.html

-31.7667 cents to be exact so there is no way to actually tune to the A 432hz there will be .033 of off set if rounded up to 31.8

Re: tuning to A=432hz in rack es

I looked in the Motif XS where the (Fine) Tune “cents” are also shown as cycles per second

The math in figuring that out will give you a headache… as perhaps so will playing referenced to A432.0Hz

Re: tuning to A=432hz in rack es

so lets say i do tune it down the 31.8 cents.  Then i just hit store to make it permanent/global for all voices until i change it back otherwise.
