I have loaded up samples to a pattern Track 1. from C1 to C4.
all play and sound great. I would like them to continue to play while I hold down the key but they run thru and then stop while I still have the key down. Also is there a way to “toogle” a loop. ? By that I mean, to have it start looping with one touch of the key and continue looping until I press the key again.

You can edit each sample to LOOP as follows:
Press [INTEGRATED SAMPLING]
This will take you the WAVEFORM Select page.
Find your Waveform 0001-1024

Press [SF5] KEYBANK
Here you can see where your different samples are mapped to the keys and you can AUDITION them
Start with the sample on C1
Press [EDIT]
Here you can now edit that particular Keybank

At [F1] TRIM you can edit the START POINT, LOOP POINT and END POINT of the sample
At [F2] PARAM you can set the PLAY MODE = LOOP

You will also want to take a look at the Power User Plus Pack tutorial found in the MOTIF XS Behind the Manual area - it includes 7MB of drum loop wave data… Make sure you back up your own data in an ALL data file before working with this tutorial - as it is in depth and will load new data to your Motif XS… Look for the item: DRUM KIT LOOP TUTORIAL its both data and a PDF.
