I currently have an original Motif Rack (not ES) and am using SONAR Studio on a laptop to run custom sequences on stage. I’d like to move all of this to a single lightweight keyboard that has all of the custom patches I’ve worked so hard to create. I’m pretty sure I can move my custom patches over with the multi-voice editor software. My major concern is to what extent my SONAR sequences can be transferred to the MO8 or any other MOTIF stand-alone keyboard. |

Re: MOTIF Rack & SONAR vs MO8
Simply save your SONAR sequenced songs as standard MIDI files. You can then load these into your MO8 (or other Motif class synthesizer), setup a mix for them (including voice selections, stereo pan positions, effects, effect send and return levels, relative volumes, etc.) and then save them as part of an ALL SONG file.
