Hey, I’m thinking of condensing my setup.  I was wondering if I bought a Motif Rack, could I transfer my settings from my Motif6, or are they incompatible?  This really is crucial to the whole operation, as I’ve been using the Motif since it’s inception.  Thanks.

Well, just to state the obvious, there are a couple of huge differences:
There is no SONG mode or PATTERN mode in the Motif Rack.
The MIXING setups of the Motif will equate to the MULTI of the Rack unit.

In your post you speak of Motif 6 and a Motif Rack, we are a bit confused because you posted in the Motif ES forum.

Before anyone can give you accurate information about crucial operations you have to be specific about which products are you wishing to transfer data between.
