Is it possible to use a Motif 6 as a controller for Garageband on a Macbook Pro?  Neither one seems to recognize the other when I hooked them up via USB cable. I hope I’m not wasting my time trying.  Thanks to anyone who can help me out.

You’ll need the USB-MIDI driver which you should be able to find at [url=http://www.yamahasynth.com]http://www.yamahasynth.com. [/url]

In fact, try this link which is the general page for the Motif classic goodies. The USB driver is right at the bottom so keep scrolling down. There are drivers for windows and mac.
