Hi Guys.

There are one or two sounds that I would like to transfer onto the Rack-ES from my old CS6x (retired from gig use, bless it)

I know that there are sounds available from motifmart for this, but this appears to be for the Motif ES or the original Motif Rack, plus there is only one bank that opens in the Motif Rack ES voice editor (it will only open the original Motif Rack version)

Cheers guys!!! /forums/images/icons/smile.gif alt=

Re: Loading CS6x/S80 sounds onto the Motif Rack ES

Download and unzip the file.

The Motif Rack ES can IMPORT Motif Voice Editor files (.w2e/.w3e)

Open the “S80&CS6 Motif Rack” folder inside you will find the Motif Voice Editor files. (I don’t know why it is labeled ‘Motif Rack” - I guess because the Motif Rack can also read this file type)… but you will be able to Import Voices from this file with the Motif Rack ES Editor as well.

Launch Studio Mananger
Launch your Motif-Rack ES Voice Editor
Click on EDIT
Select the IMPORT… option

A dialog box will open
Click on OPEN FILE
Set the FILES OF TYPE = Motif Voice Editor Files (.w2e)

Once open you can select individual Voices or you can select any one then click [CTRL] + [A] to Select ALL and you can simply drag the Voices from the IMPORT dialog box to the current Library.

Once in the Current Library you can bulk them to your Motif-Rack ES

Hope that helps.
