And now a request…

Can you ask Yamaha to provide you with the Multi programing for all three of the Multi (performance) banks so that you can pre-load them in your software? In this way we can mix and match from the 3 banks to make one of our choosing. As it is now, each multi will have to be loaded individually from the Yamaha editor into the Rack XS, and saved before uploading to your editor for librarian functionality.

If you had all three multi banks loaded in your software, then we would be able to mix and match without using the hardware as a intermediate move. We would also be able to load an entire multi bank at one time.

These would be volatile copies, so that we could edit and save as required. The factory sets are stored with the Yamaha software, so not a risk.

my work is appreciated.

SpongeBob, thank you too! Very nice suggestion for the
3 banks of multis they will be bundled with my software
in the next update!

Keytarhero, in September I’ve started learning the Mac platform
to investigate how easy it is to make the port but I’m afraid I
don’t have time for this right now… Sorry, but you can still
run Windows on your Intel-Mac at least that’s how I use
my tools with my Macbook!

Claudio with the current version of the Mix Editor and the Total
Librarian, you can edit multis but to store them you have to
press the appropriate button on the Rack. In the next version
you will also be able to Store from my editors!
