I have a yamaha MM6 Synthesizer and Steinberg’s Cubase LE to record with. There is a lot I don’t understand such as patterns, channels, EQ, how to make complicated beats and songs. I have been playing for only a little over 11 months now. I can do very basic stuff. I am not looking to take a piano class, but is there a place online that teaches you how different things work in composing music with a synth? Just looking to expand my composing skills and knowledge and get the most out of my instrument and hopefully start making some really decent songs.

Re: Recording music with Yamaha MM6

There’s a DVD on the MM6 called Making Beats On The Yamaha MM6 available in the MotifMart. Check out the contents but it sounds like it covers a lot of what you’re looking for.
