So… while I would love to get the new Korg M50-88 for use at my apartment, it seems more financially feasible for me to bring my ES8 from home. However I’m afraid to transport it without a case… Would you recommend getting a hard or soft case (or none at all) for probably only a one-time carry up three flights of stairs? Which cases are good and fit the ES8? Thanks very much guys! |

Re: Good case needed… (or not?)
If you have plans to transport your ES8, it is always a good idea to use a case. Soft case is good when you transport instrument occasionally. I’m using soft case when I taking my ES6 to the weekend house. I put it on the backseet of the car and use safety belts for any instance. But, if you take your instrument frequently and also use airplane for transport, a hard case is a must. You could see various types of cases on Motifmart. Hope that I help you.

I would like to add that a soft case (a bag) is OK when only YOU handle the transport,

Re: Good case needed… (or not?) Hmm… as much as I hate to spend that much money for a one-time use… I’d hate it more if my ES got smashed on the sidewalk or down stairs. Perhaps a soft case will do. Are there any recommendations in particular? I know that the ones in the Motifmart will work, but any preferences for one? Thank you guys, the help is very much appreciated. |

Re: Good case needed… (or not?)
I use the “soft case” for transporting my ES6 and the “hard case” for the ES8. The hard case is like trying to put a “Buick” in the back of my SUV,but I feel much more secure. The soft case for the ES has been quite durable as I have had it for about 5 years, originally using it to transport my Classic.

Re: Good case needed… (or not?) Yeah it would just be me and my family helping me move it. The only thing is that I wonder, what if I get with a band a start needing to take it to gigs? Then I’d want a hard case, but then again in that case I suppose I’d get a keyboard more specifically for gigging. Thanks for your help and thoughts everyone! |
