Hi,
I’ve purchased a song from Midi-hits.com, midi format 0 and transfered it to my SMcard. After inserting my SMcard in my S90 I go to Seq>Chain>Select the song> Hit Play and then I get an error message saying “File not found”.

Same thing when I go to Card, I can find my file. For clarification, my card is empty except for that midi file which I loaded on the root folder of the card.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Re: S90 won’t play song from SMcard

I’m also having some SM Card problems, but what I understand so far is that the new SM Card has to first be formatted by the S90 BEFORE it can be used. A card previously formmated by another machine might not work in the S90.  I hope this helps!

That is NOT true: all SMC’s are formatted FAT16 in the factory, ready to use.
