I am having a problem when I get ready to name a song.  When I get to File..I am selecting wav...and then I cursor down to name.  At that point, my cursor won’t work.  I tried pushing the Information button, and that does pull up the list of letters and characters.. and one of the characters is highlighted but the cursor won’t move and it won’t let me select any letters!!!!!  The arrows will move to a different letter position, but i’m stuck by not getting any letters.  Any suggestions, or does this need repair ?  The cursor does work for other functions!!!!!!
Thanks for any help.

Re: Naming problem

Are you naming a Song (in Song mode) or a recording (wav file)?

If the latter, your cursor may be in the wrong pane.

Re: Naming problem

I always use the ‘wheel’ above the cursors.

Re: Naming problem

I suppose that you have already resampled your song, ie. you record your song from Song mode to Integrated sampler. Otherwise, you could not record your song in sequencer as wav file, since that file don’t exist yet (until resampling).

Re: Naming problem

That’s not the problem.
You can only name a song or file by the wheel-button
or by the INC / DEC buttons, not by the cursor keys.

Re: Naming problem

I should have been more clear.  It was the wheel that wasn’t working....however I did go to p53 and that took care of that problem.  I had overlooked the Job step, and that made the difference.  I am still stuck on steps after that, but I will do some more studying.  I’m so close.  Thanks for help.
