Hello, wonderfull forum! i seem to have a problem when hooking my motif 6 to cubase sx3 via midi. i have the connections right i have the midi in on my motif connecting to the midi out on my m-audio fast track pro interface, the midi out on my motif 6 is connected to the midi in on the interface. Now i have everything set up correctly on cubase sx3. i know cubase is recieving midi signal because when i press a key on the motif the little bars on the cubase interface signal me.

Re: motif 6 & cubase problem!
The likely problem is MIDI Echo.

Re: motif 6 & cubase problem!
Sorry - The MIDI Thru I am talking about is in Cubase and is in the preferences for MIDI - I don’t recall if this is in the File menu or linked with the Devices menus. There is a check box which you either tick or un-tick - I don’t have Cubase in front of me at the moment so cannot double check where and what any more precisely, but could probably do so tonight, if you still need assistance.

Re: motif 6 & cubase problem!
If I understand you right, you have created sequences in the Motif that you want to shift across to Cubase as midi- yes?
