How can I insert a MP3 file in Cubase or Wavelab ?
Do I really need a converter from a third partner ???
Which one then ???

Cubase includes the ability to ‘import’ MP3 files - you use the import command in the file dialogue

I thought so too…
But it did not work for me because of error-message.
Will retry this procedure tonight, perhaps the file was corrupted or something…

There is a section in the manual about MP3 importing.
From your information it seems you have the full version so MP3 import is definitely in there and I have managed it more than once with SX3.

Yes, the import works perfect. I am even not able to get an error again.
