I am looking at getting an AIEB2 board for my MOES7 and I have two questions:

1.  How many individual channels are available on the digital outs?

2.  Where can I find an electronic copy of the user’s manual for the AIEB2?

Thanks.

Re: AIEB2 Questions

The digital outputs on the AIEB2 are stereo… they are the same as the analog stereo out (except a digital version) L&R only. And will always be identical to the signal coming out the analog L&R output jacks.

There is no Manual for the AIEB2… beyond the install instructions in your Motif ES manual. It is very straight forward and its installation and operation is covered in the main manual.

The parameters to address it are already in the Motif ES (even prior to its installation).
When you are looking at any page dealing with OUTPUT SELECT you already have the options available:
L&R are the main outputs (analog and/or digital)
asL&R are the analog Assignable Left and Right jacks on the back panel
as1&2, as3&4, as5&6 refer to the analog outputs on the AIEB2 or to the first 6 stereo pairing for the mLAN outputs
as7&8, as9&10, as11&12, as13&14 refer to the additiona 8 stereo pairs available as digital mLAN outputs.
as1-as14 are mono versions of the assignable outputs.
as1-as6 available for the AIEB2
as1-as14 available for the mLAN16E

Re: AIEB2 Questions

Edited:  oops… Bad_Mister beat me to an answer… Brad

The digital outputs of the AIEB2 is simply a digital copy of the Stereo main outputs of the host instrument (in your case a digital copy - S/PDIF format - of the analog Main L&R outputs).

I have never been able to locate an electronic copy of the AIEB2. At one time I had this product and as I recall, the printed documentation for the product was minimal.
