hey there
i was curious if anyone knew a way to make patch changes more fluid on the ES8...in some songs i need to use several different performances, going back and forth between them. if there are any sounds sustaining, they abruptly stop when the change is triggered, and theres a noticeable pause until the new sound begins from the next performance.

any ideas??
thanks

Re: switching patches during live performance

The traditional method is to have multiple keyboards. I’m sure you mean without having to buy additional keyboards, right?

The reason there are double and triple tier stands is for the very thing you are trying to solve.

You can place your sounds in a SONG MIXING or PATTERN MIXING setup and simply stack as many as you need on a MIDI channel… switching sounds is as easy as hitting the appropriate Track Select button to recall your sounds.
