I had a motif 6 and recently sold it for needed cash.  I recieved my motif 7 in the mail today and i can’t get it to read my smartmedia data. before i sold the motif 6 i played a few songs off of the smartmedia card for the guy and i took my card out and stored it in a safe place.

What could be going on here?
A32mb card was shipped with the 7 and it reads but my 128 mb card wont read like its empty
Is it possible that he could have made a setting in the motif 7 or something?

I’m pretty sure its not my card thats acting up but how can i make sure its the motif and not the card?

All help would definitly be greatly appreciated.
