Re: Adding Voice Banks Into Motif

Put the files onto a Smart Media card.

Here is the first hurdle - a Motif Voice file is actually two parts and you need both to be on the card. An ALL file with a new orchestral voice set (based on samples) I have has a w2a file and a w3a.

Once the card is in the Motif then you scroll through and load the All file.

Note that since the Motif ALL file will overwrite all of your current data, before loading such a thing, you really need to first off SAVE an ALL file which will be the current state of your Motif, enabling you to back track at a later point.

This may not totally answer your question, but try it for size and see what comes then post up if you need more info.

Cheers

Re: Adding Voice Banks Into Motif

This method overwrites the all file (User Voices, right?

If you only wanted to load several Voices from Vintage Keys for example, and keep the remaining factory voices, can you do that through Motif?  PC?

Is this easier through a PC?
